Go Daddy Scrambles to Bring Customer Sites Online After Massive Anonymous Attack

September 10, 2012 — Web host Go Daddy is "working feverishly" to bring its site and thousands of others back online after a single Anonymous hacker hit its DNS servers with a massive DDoS attack. While the motive is unclear at this point, Anonymous has tweeted that users of Go Daddy support censorship of the Internet, possibly referring to its support of SOPA and PIPA earlier this year.
